Hi, I’m Antonio Sejas, a software engineer at Automattic, a lifelong learner, and a dreamer at heart. I’m passionate about building technology that simplifies and enriches people’s lives. My strengths lie in learning, teaching, helping, leading, developing, and shiping innovative products.
I hold a degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. During my studies, I spent a transformative year on an Erasmus exchange in the Czech Republic, broadening my horizons both personally and professionally.
I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse technologies and innovative companies, continuously learning and growing. Currently, I’m shaping products for WordPress.com at Automattic. Previously, I contributed to Modern Tribe building the flagship harvard.edu and Udacity where I helped students to learn React. In my years of freelancer I helped startups like cafeleather.com to take off.

Born in Madrid, and currently residing in the beautiful Canary Islands., Spain.
I’m a proud father of two wonderful children, Sofia and Alexander, and a devoted husband to my wife, Ksenia. Together, we are dedicated to turning our family’s dreams into reality every day—without excuses.
Our favorite hobby is traveling the world and discovering new places, which enriches our perspectives, exposes us to diverse cultures and cuisines, and inspires ideas that fuel my work and inspire others.

Vision
We are living in an extraordinary era. Our smartphones have cameras more advanced than the first used to record first films. Our smartwatches are more powerful than the early spaceships. We can fly to to the other part of the world in matter of hours and access limitless knowledge through the Internet.
Our lives are more comfortable than those of ancient Kings and Pharaohs.
With the ability to create monumental things using minimal resources, we must seize this unique opportunity to shape a better world for future generations. I believe that artificial intelligence is revolutionizing our lives by handling routine tasks, leaving us more time to focus on what truly matters.
I often envision a future where technology, humanity, and kindness coexist harmoniously. My goal is to leverage our collective knowledge and embrace every opportunity to become the best versions of ourselves. We have a responsibility to use our limited time wisely and make a meaningful difference.
In this digital age, let’s strive to give more than we receive. Aim to produce 80% of our time and consume just 20%.
I believe in the power of fractals, patterns that repeat at multiple scales. Just as a single cell feeds, reproduces, and dies without knowing it’s part of something larger, we humans must recognize that our individual purposes contribute to the greater mission of humanity in this universe. Let’s be kind to one another and help others, even strangers.That’s why jobs exist, to help others.
